Many literate Christians in India do not have
Bibles. If ordered in bulk, Telegu Bibles
cost $1.50 each.

About giving to Margham:

  • 100% of Margham funds go to India. No one in the U.S. draws a salary.  None is used for fundraising or other overheard costs.
  • All personal costs of missionary visits are paid out of the traveller's own pocket.
  • As Margham is a registered non-profit corporation, gifts to Margham are tax-deductible.
  • Questions? Need more information? Contact marghaminc@hotmail.com

  • $30 a month feeds, clothes, houses, and
    educates a Margham orphan.

Margham provides monthly support to 45 pastors in India. A pastor and his family can live comfortably on only $45 a month.

$5 a month provides food for a leper. An additional $3 a month provides bandages.

Most Margham pastors walk or bicycle to serve their congregations located in remote villages miles apart. A Honda motorcycle for a Margham pastor in India costs $1200. A similar model in the U.S. costs at least $4000.

Margham has provided funding to build many churches in India. A typical village church contruction costs only $5000.

Sewing machines are $100 and provide a constant and respected. livelihood for a poor or orphaned girl.

Widows are culturally outcast and face impoverished conditions for themselves and their family.  $10 a month provides rice for a month for a widow.

Margham has held many pastors' conferences in the past few years providing Telegu commentaries on the books of Luke, John, Romans, Galations, Ephesians, Hebrews, 1 & 2 Timothy, 1st 2nd and 3rd John, and several other books. These commentaries are important because most pastors lack formal seminary training since they do not speak English well. Furthermore, they have access to no commentaries in their own language.  Donations are always welcome to help cover the costs of future pastors' conferences.
